Circa 1900, a mahjong playing set held in a wooden dovetailed case with decorative metal mounts, five graduated drawers containing bone and bamboo playing pieces, consisting of 138 decorated tiles, 8 blank, numerous counters and dice.

Missing the sliding front cover; one drawer missing half of metal pull; overall general wear from age and use.
