The Berkeley Foundry in Norfolk, Virginia which made iron works since its inception in 1894 was purchased by Sam Jones around 1919. Sam was an active outdoorsman on Ocracoke Island, particularly with the Green Island Club. He had these small iron miniatures made and gave them as gifts to friends and special clients.
Original paint with some light corrosion to surface.
