Early 20th century, patinated spelter and marble, time and strike brass movement numbered 17181 / 72, unsigned hand-painted porcelain dial with ormolu hands, set within figural fountain featuring narrative of a whispered secret between putti and young woman, signed in the casting
Ch Perron (after Charles Théodore Perron), with foundry mark "Fabrication Francaise / Made in France," the whole is set upon a stepped green marble base with engraved title plaque and gilt foliate feet.
27 1/2 x 13 1/4 x 9 in.
