René Demeurisse was a prolific and talented painter with a bold and lush brush style. He exhibited at the Salon de la Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the Salon des Independents and the Salon e'Automne. He was also a co-founder of the Salon des Tuileries in the 1920s.

Some chipping to frame; light surface grime; overall in good estate condition.
