Late 19th/early 20th century, the first pair are cast representations of Commedia dell'Arte Characters after Jacques Callot (1592-1635), depicting figures playing blacksmithing tools as instruments, hats likely for use as candleholders or inkwells; the second pair of Musicians, one holding medieval bagpipes, the tallest holding a violin, signed "Anfrie" after sculptor Charles Anfrie (French, 1833-1905) and retaining plaque to base "LA MUSIQUE par Anfrie (Sculpt[o]r)."
