Antique English Mahogany Cobbler or Tailor's Mirror

19th century, mahogany veneer, rectangular mirror with swivel frame support having turned wood finials, turned spindles, scrolled feet.

47.5 x 20 x 18 in.

Note the angle of the mirror while set to the angle of the stile supports allows the viewer to see their feet even at a close distance from the mirror.

Old mirror with small edge chip at upper right corner; silver loss to mirror; some tight hairlines to veneers; attractive dark patina throughout.
