Early earthenware examples: a baluster vase with applied strap handles, 'mistake' glaze (17 in.) (2 3/8 in. rim loss; underside hole/crack) and a pair of tall candlesticks, clear orange glaze (19 1/2 in.) (one with break and repair and rim chip).
