Benny Carter (NC, 1943-2014), "Carter's Art Car"

A red wooden car lavishly decorated with a double sided sun and star motif rising from the roof and numerous allover glass and plastic found trinkets. The passenger side of the car is painted with a representation of Sam McMillan; the driver's side painted with Benny Carter and his wife in the back seat with title "Carter's Art Car".

Dust surrounds the trinkets; the star and sun points are made from cans and are somewhat bent; otherwise good condition.
