Finely knotted, possibly silk, the ivory field with center red almond shaped medallion, the field with a vase of flowers surrounded by birds, butterflies, and animals, the wine red border with navy medallions featuring floral and avian motifs, within multiple minor borders, signature to lower edge (translates to Iran, Isfahan, Naqshband), back with vinyl edge reinforcement. With wooden handing bar sewn to top edge.
