Two Vintage Confidence Decoys, Loon and Merganser

Mid-century, carved and painted wood, the larger of a common loon, retains weight to underside (overall length 15 in.), the smaller a merganser with red head and gray body (14 in.). Both unsigned.

Largest Length 15.5 in.

Some scattered surface wear; merganser with crack and repair to beak and 1 in. chip to back, chipping and later paint to tail, previous holes to undersides from weight; Loon with roughness to beak tip; holes to undersides from weights.
