Copperplate engraving, hand colored, depicting Africa from the Mediterranean Sea to just south of Mozambique, with references to many myths, illustrated with mountains, elephants, and sea creatures and a ship in the surrounding waters, with a cartouche and coat of arms in the left corner discussing Prester John, and a cartouche in the lower right with the title; presented behind glass in a gilt wooden frame.

With full margins, not laid down; (1) vertical fold crease down the center, light toning, very minor foxing and soiling; very good condition.
