Near Pair of Large Chinese Export Red Lacquer and Giltwood Mirrors

20th century, each with rectangular mirrored glass encased in a red lacquered wood frame surmounted by alternating incised and painted scenes of warriors and figures in interiors and terminated by a royal coat of arms flanked by a script "W" and "N"; each with carved wood openwork galleries, one featuring figures, foliate, and phoenix motifs; the other featuring scenes of warriors, still life decoration, and mother of pearl inlay.

Each 71 x 54 1/2 x 3 in.

Some cracking to carved decoration and areas of glue repair, some minor losses to mother of pearl decoration, both with light general surface wear.
