French sculptor, Eutrope Bouret, was born in 1833 in Paris, and was a student of French sculptor Louis Charles Hippolyte Buhot (1815-1865). Bouret exhibited in the Paris Salon from 1875-1903.

A nice casting with warm patina; some rubbing to patina along bonnet; a few light scattered superficial paint specs; one scuff to left shoulder; underside with light verdigris; looseness to crook.
