A Set of Four Chinese Lacquered Double Sided Panel Paintings

Circa 1900, each panel set into a rosewood frame, front side with deep aquamarine background and painted with scenes from a literary narrative, each scene divided by pillowy mountains and fauna, reverse side with calligraphy carved into a gilt background, calligraphy in black with two artist red seals to lower left corner, each panel has a large ruyi cloud hanger at center top.

Each panel 58 x 16 x 1 in.

Good estate condition; some losses and wear to edge of panels
