Meiji period (1868-1912), includes two vases finely painted in the Satsuma manner, a larger vase (13 in.) with artist's seal to underside, and a smaller vase (9 3/4 in.) signed to the underside 大日本白山造 (dai nihon Hakusan zo) under satsuma crest.
