Pair of Antique Continental Trompe l'oeil Painted Floor Screens

Early to mid-19th century, likely Italian, unsigned, oil on canvas mounted to a hinged four-panel screen, the obverse paint decorated as a cottage estate within a red frame on a smoky blue wall, above wainscoting panel with floral garland swag, the reverse with various foliate spray motifs.

Each panel approximately 72 1/2 x 25 1/4 in.; length overall 16 ft.
