Qing dynasty (1644-1912), the marble panel having an organic scene that resembles towering mountains in the clouds, veining of stone and texture can be felt at surface, the marble panel is set into a carved rosewood or zitan frame with scrolling tendrils to apron and end supports, raised on four shaped feet.
21 x 16 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
Very good estate condition; a few minor scattered scratches; a clear glue bubble to left side of panel front; the edges of panel on both front and reverse appear to be slightly darkened, perhaps from a previous frame fitting for the panel.
