Kangxi period (1662-1722), porcelain very finely hand painted in famille verte palette, interior sides with thick border of patterning between shaped cloud reserves with flora,
ruyi clouds in iron red over patterned ground, interior well with lush and delicate looking basket filled with flora an peaches, exterior sides powder blue ground with shaped reserves hand painted with landscapes and floral compositions, underside with two blue lines and mark to center, three paper labels including one stating Morgan Collection.

From the Collection of Professor Roberto Severino, Washington, D.C. The three labels to the underside of the bowl establish provenance of this bowl to the prominent collectors James Garland (two stickers, one with number 1026) and J. P. Morgan (Morgan Collection). A description matching this bowl can be found in the 1904 Catalogue of the Morgan collection of Chinese porcelains. Volume 1, p. 86, no 32.
Overall very good estate condition; rim with loss to glaze and fritting as well as small nicks probably from previous bronze or silver rim fitting.
