Wool, South Turkestan, likely Tekke, the red field with allover repeating double "row of arches" motif in black and white and dark orange forming a pattern of hexagons and diamonds, within multiple borders.

The "row of arches" motif was used in the weavings of the Salor tribe in the 18th and early 19th centuries.

Large area of stain to ground; holes, wear, and loss to flat weave end and fringe; dye run.
