An early printed book of Girolamo Savonarola's sermons of 1497, the same year the well-known Renaissance preacher was excommunicated by the pope and a year before his execution.

Vellum with typical marks, small stains, and discoloration due to age, slight warping; pages lightly toned with foxing and occasional grime or small stain, (2) pages with marginalia, one leaf with thinned paper at corner, several small wormhole repairs, last several leaves with small area of damp staining at outer margin, small amount of cracking at hinge yet binding still very sturdy, modern endpapers. Extremely rare; USTC lists (9) copies, WorldCat lists only (2).
