The first, a green alabaster dressing box, French, 20th century, with hinged lid raised on four paw feet (2 1/4 x 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 in.); the second, a malachite dish or inkwell, with polished well and natural exterior (1 1/2 x 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.).
