Carved wood with pigments, horses in the Tang style with nice detail to anatomy and facial features, the pair of powerful horses stand solidly on their plinths each wearing a draped blanket along their back and tasseled reigns along their body, with inset eyes and open mouth, a Chinese red wax export seal to both horses, they come together with tall black display stands.
