A rare Aldine edition of this famous collection of Cicero's letters, together with the commentary of Cicero scholar, general humanist, and printer Paulus Manutius, the son of Aldus Manutius.

Vellum with typical age wear including marks, scuffs, and light stains, boards with edgewear and some warping; bookplate on paste-down; pages very lightly toned (one gathering with heavier toning) with minimal foxing and small areas of damp staining at several corners and edges at early gatherings, one page with tiny loss not impacting text. A very good copy.
