England, first half19th century, the first is a John Rogers and Son blue and white transfer printed platter, with decoration from the Indian Views series, printed with figures leading a laden ox before ruins, titled
Monopteros, the underside impressed "Rogers" (crazing and some minor surface imperfections). The second has a backstamp of "Riley's Semi China", transfer printed with a riverside castle scene (edge scrapes and wear in the round; some surface cutlery marks).
