Lodovico Zuccolo (Italy, 1568-1630) was a philosopher, political theorist, and writer. Like other intellectuals at the time, he was interested in the concept of utopia which he discusses in several parts of his Dialogues, including in Della Citta Felice or, Of the Happy City.

Light wear and warping to vellum with small tears and losses at tail and corners, one small wormhole in front cover, manuscript fading; light toning and foxing; title page with small stains, faint stamps, and manuscript; small loss to front flyleaf, several pages with frayed edges, and many pages with staining, soiling/grime, or damp staining at margins and corners; a good copy of this rare title.
