New England Federal Cherry Pembroke Stretcher Base Table

Attributed to Connecticut, circa 1800, appears to be white spruce secondary, rectangular top with drop leaves and batten support, top with deep 4.5 inch overhang, single drawer with scratch bead, flush skirt rails, delicate tall square tapered legs with slight inside chamfer, arched and shaped X-stretcher base.

28 x 35 x 18 in., each leaf 7.75 in.

Top reset; later pull; drawer secondary and one side skirt secondary wood with white chalk inscription.
