Later quarter bound over marbled paper boards, gilt stamped spine with raised bands, top edge stained. 8vo; vi, [2 contents and errata], 401, [3 blank and advertisements]pp. (Boards with light scratches; interior with expected toning, scattered foxing, occasional pencil marginalia and small losses at edges not impacting text; library stamps on several pages; very good.)

(Good condition overall; corners rubbed, joints lightly rubbed, with light creasing at spine and wear at head including small tears; cracking at hinges, endpapers with light grime and previous owner's name, scattered foxing throughout.)

Burgundy cloth-covered boards, blind tooled design on covers, gilt lettering on spine, top edges gilt. 24mo. Illustrated with steel engravings, with frontispieces and tissue guards. (Overall good condition with boards lightly scuffed, with edgewear and wear at corners and head and tail of spine; slight separation from text block; pages very lightly toned with scattered ink and pencil writing, one with tear at paste-down endpaper, occasional mark and offsetting; all but one with original frontispiece, some with later additional pasted illustrations.)
