(A fair to good copy with boards scuffed, small stain on front cover, corners heavily rubbed, spine with cloth losses and tears at head and tail with one additional small loss, slight cracking at rear joint, front joint taped; cracking at hinges, endpapers with edge chips and several small marks; pages toned at edges with scattered foxing, and occasional damp staining at edges and corners, small stain or tear, or light grime.)

(2) leaves with text from the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, gilt manuscript surrounded by colorful border on parchment, ca. 1500. In finely bound green and red leather gilt tooled boards, in red clamshell box with gilt on spine and cloth-lined interior. (Leaves in very good condition, set into/no longer bound in boards, surrounding leaves lightly toned and foxed; boards very good with edgewear; case with scuffs and marks, corners rubbed.)
