Circa 1825, mahogany veneers, oak secondary, the hinged front door revealing an enameled white and gilt tombstone face with 9-inch round dial, signed to lower cartouche, two-train spring barrel movement with verge escapement and silk suspension striking on two upper bells, numbered 4805 to lower edge, the 6 in. musical movement below with chain fusee drive, playing on a carillon of twelve bells with nineteen hammers, presented in a mahogany arched monument case, with gilt moldings, chamfered stiles, reticulated brass screen sides, and molded base on cast brass feet, includes pendulum.
