First quarter 19th century, Ridgway (1808-1830) style, each piece hand-painted with a traveler and his dog walking towards the ruins of a cathedral, the rims painted a running leaf design beneath a gilt edge, the set consists of (8) individual plates (8 3/4 in.), (2) shell dishes and (2) oval dishes (10 3/4 in.), (2) two square plates. Not marked.
