Late 19th century, ebonized wood, rosewood veneer, tortoise shell and brass inlay, deal and pine secondary, top with pierced brass gallery and inlaid foliate scroll panel, shaped fall front panel with repeating foliate scroll inlays and ormolu edge, interior with three small drawers, sliding storage compartment panel, black leather writing surface, case skirt and sides with repeating inlaid panels, tall cabriole lets with figural ormolu mounts.
