18th century, mahogany, mahogany veneer, light and dark wood inlay, oak and pine secondary, steel and brass face with painted metal upper panel of a shepherdess and clipper ship, upper arch marked "Will.m Wilkinson Leeds", with second dial and calendar dial, the hood with shaped central plinth having conch shell inlay flanked by brass spire finials, banded line inlaid stiles, tombstone glazed door with banded line inlay, fully turned stop fluted columns, shaped waist door with molded edge, central figural urn inlay with checkered line borders, canted corners with light wood line inlays terminating in stylized lamb's tongue, the base with inlaid sunburst and corner fan designs, shaped bracket foot base, with two weights, pendulum with brass fob, and case key.
