Two Carved Mother of Pearl Shells of Religious Theme

Circa 1900, the first a representation of Palm Sunday, with niello engraved inscription 'DOMENICA PALMA" to lower banner (5 3/8 x 5 in.); the larger of the Nativity with ornate openwork and relief carved decoration, the central banner engraved "Bethlehem" to central banner (6 1/2 x 5 3/8 in.).

Overall good estate condition; some dust accretions to crevices; some minor surface staining to posterior.
