English-born artist Jill Carver moved to Austin, Texas in 2002. Following a twelve-year career as a curatorial research assistant at the National Portrait Gallery in London, she has established herself in Texas, becoming well-known for her renderings of the Texas Hill Country, the Davis Mountains, the Big Bend region, and Western Landscapes. Carver has won numerous awards for her works in national juried shows, and her paintings can be found in the Art Academy of Easton, Maryland.
