Pair of Chippendale Carved and Incised Mahogany Side Chairs

Circa 1800, possibly Irish, shaped and relief carved crest rail pierced and carved back splat set within a molded shoe, tapered stiles with incised floral vine motif, floral needlepoint over upholstered seat, front straight legs with repeating incised floral design, stretcher base, rear down-swept legs.

38 x 21 x 18 in., seat height 18 in.

Later needlepoint upholstery; molded shoes have been reset; age appropriate scuffs to the legs; structurally sound.
