The first, late 19th century, stoneware pottery mythical figure of Xiezhi, a unicorn representing justice and wisdom, rendered in the Tang style with Sancai glaze, presented with a custom carved wood base (9 1/4 x 4 x 7 in.); the second, late 19th or early 20th century, a famille verte glazed porcelain figure of a reclining dog (3 x 5 1/4 x 8 in.).
