A Continental Bronze Desk Accessory, Reclined Putti on Shell

Late 19th century, likely French or German, figuring a putti prodding a crustacean, slides horizontally along the base to reveal a secret compartment opening to the interior, mounted on a green marble pedestal, twin suns mark impressed to underside.
