Pair of Bluebill Decoys

Circa 1940, carved and painted wood, branded BS on bottom, drake has glass eyes, wooden keel, lead ballast and leather rigging loop, hen has turned head with glass eyes, two piece hollow body construction with iron rigging loop.

Longest length 15 in.

Drake has small amount of missing wood at tail, hen has loose but stable head at neck, both have various amounts of scuffing to paint with soiling.
