19th and 20th century, the first, a low bowl finely hand painted in an orange palette with phoenix and butterfly decoration in a landscape and gilt highlights (9 3/4 in. dia); the second, a clobber ware bowl with underglaze blue and white landscape decoration and overglaze polychrome enamel and gilt decoration, Chinese character mark to underside (9 in. dia.); and a low bowl hand painted with polychrome enamel foliate decoration and gilt highlights (9 1/2 in. dia.).
From a Private Collection, Washington, D.C. Some minor chipping to rim and flaking to the enamel on the last bowl.
