Former collection of Roy Willis. Purchased directly from Roy on September 12, 2004. It is noted that Roy Willis shot a limit of teal the day before he sold this decoy to the consignor.

Willis is second only to Mitchell Fulcher in recognition as a Carteret County decoy carver. He was certainly the most prolific of the carvers in Core Sound.
