Made in Italy, 20th century, reproduced from an 18th century French original made by the Pont-aux-Chou factory, the reproduction was made from molds taken from the antique collection of the Musee des Artes Decoratifs in Paris, circular footed form relief molded with flowering vines, the domed cover mounted with a full bodied bird on a stump.
