Beasley was the son of famed decoy maker Solomon Beasley. He was a talented wood carver and made decoys and boats while serving in the Coast Guard. This bluebill is extremely well made and was not repainted as a ruddy like many others.

Combination of original paint and old gunning paint with light gunning wear.
