Birmingham (1879), rubbed maker's mark, retail mark of Elkington & Co. to lid, pattern number 8251, silver mounted to cut crystal with allover acid etched grape and vine decoration, figural mask heads in relief to rim, topped with a lion finial, armorial monogram to shield.
