Originally designed in 1912.
The Wiener Werkstatte experienced its most glamorous phase in the period around 1905. Many of the pieces created at that time were later part of the design canon. The pieces known as "Fledermaus"-series are amongst the most iconic. These pieces derive their name from the famous Viennese cabaret “Fledermaus”, which was furnished with Josef Hoffmann armchairs.
Some staining and very small tears to the vinyl panel and scuffs to the black surface from use.
