From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Formerly in the collection of Lynne Garrison, Apex, North Carolina. Mrs. Garrison was an important early collector of southern decoys. Her trail blazing efforts left an important impact in the decoy collecting community.
Roberts made some well shaped redheads and blackheads that are extremely collectible. His decoys always exhibited a share chine line in the body. According to Mr. Andresen, this was his finest Rufus Roberts diver decoy.
