Based in Gastonia, North Carolina, Rudy Rudisill is a sculptor specializing in metalwork and has been an exhibiting member of Piedmont Craftsman since 1994. Rudy has described that one of the various inspirations for his works derives from his travels in the farm structures of the midwest countryside. Rudy's artworks have been included in publications such as World Sculpture News, The Metal Craft Book, Carolina Arts, The Charlotte Observer, Creative Loafing and the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Rudisill has studied at the Florida Guild of Goldsmiths Workshops, Appalachian Center for Crafts, Arrowmont School of Crafts, Penland School of Crafts, Haywood Technical Institute and Central Piedmont Community College.
