Watercolor on ivory,1886, by Charles Caruson (fl. Rome, second half of the 19th century), signed, dated, and inscribed "Roma" at lower right, after the original work painted circa 1789, retaining gallery label to verso, presented in a giltwood florentine frame with a felt liner.
