19th century, black lacquered box hand painted in gold with Chinoiserie landscapes bordered by flowers, butterflies, and foliate decoration, box has a hinged cover that opens to reveal a divided tray with some areas fitted with covers over a single drawer with a covered compartment to the interior, raised on three craved paw feet, comes together with a key and double brass handles.
