Attributed to Petersburg, circa 1830-40, applied flush crest with shaped corner, down-swept arm with scrolled terminus, ring turned and tapered arm support, straight seat rail, distinctive repeating ring turning to bold turned legs, down-swept rear legs, on casters, interior with later black leather upholstery and slip cushion, exterior panels and rear with embroidered star upholstery, brass tack trim.
