Circa 1820, mahogany veneers, rectangular hinged lid with raised panel and gadrooned edge, distinctive interior with triple lead liner (two with hinged covers, the larger with pierced bottom), case with tapered form and applied brass handles, applied gadrooned molding at base edge, ring turned standard on quadruped base with carved knee, molded down-swept leg, brass foot on caster.
